The psycho-emotional balance plays a major role in learning. This is why there are many initiatives and actions to ensure the well-being of students in our secondary school.
In situations felt to be urgent, the school, as an institution with a responsibility towards its students, reserves the right to send a student to the school psychologist even without informing the parents beforehand.
We are presenting here the various entities aimed at guaranteeing the healthy development of our pupils.
Our Educational Advisors
They are the first contact point between pupils and support teams.
There is one advisor per year, plus the principal educational advisor.
Our Guidance Team
The Guidance Team is always pleased to meet you! We are a group of voluntary teachers and educational advisors who are skilled to coach and listen to our students. Are you in need for a talk? Are there tensions at home? Feeling overwhelmed? Concerned about a friend or parent? Don’t hesitate to contact us!
We cover all language sections across the secondary cycle. You are free to speak with anyone of us. We intervene on class level covering all kinds of topics whenever that seems necessary. We work closely with the advisors, the pastoral team and the school psychologists.
We respect professional secrecy. This means we only talk about our student coaching inside a professional context. This is different from our school psychologists, whose work implies confidentiality.
You can find the members of our guidance team on the posters in school or on the Teams group of your year. We can meet up at school or on Teams. Our ‘door’ is always open.
Our Educational Support
We have an important support structure
appropriate for students with special educational difficulties or needs during their schooling.
Our students can easily take advantage of this important well-being resource by making an appointment with our educational advisors or members of the Guidance Team. The content of the interviews is confidential. More information here

Secondary Programme to promote 8 Life Skills
In response to the need for our school to clearly state its vision (as part of the whole school plan), we believe that adopting these 8 life skills will benefit pupils, staff, and parents. This is not only a social programme, but it also has proven academic benefits. The goal is to create a school community using these eight life skills as a framework.
