FAMES 2025
Fames is a festival held every two years, for all the European and accredited schools to celebrate Art and Music.
This year it was held in EEB4 Laeken, Brussels during a sunny weekend last Wednesday 26th March until Sunday 30th March 2025.
The music teachers from all the schools held musical workshops to work together to create music by all the students in the orchestra, jazz band, rock group and choir. The art teachers lead diverse creative workshops for the art students, working together with students from other European schools, visiting the museum of Europe, as well as an exchange with a Romanian artist. All the students visited la Monnaie, and saw a general rehearsal, visited the costume and scenery workshops behind the scenes at the Opera, with an art exhibition of European students' creations, including the photographs from EEB2 2-period Art option.
All the students and teachers were present at the closing ceremony, with all the magnificent costumes created and modelled by the Art students, their creations exhibited, and the highly successful musical performances presented by the orchestra, rock and jazz bands and choir.
The exchange of Music and Art was celebrated by all who participated and came to watch the show.
