Science olympiads
The pupils of EEB2 have once again distinguished themselves in the various science competitions. Well done to them and to the teachers who support them in this challenge!
Physics Olympiads
For the third consecutive year, EEB2 has two finalists at Baccalaureate level: Julijs Slava and Tibor Varga. Yann Baar (S6) is also a finalist: he will automatically qualify for the semi-final next year. If having one finalist is already exceptional, then having two finalists is quite remarkable, and the fact that it is for the third consecutive year is a sign of the commitment and excellence of EEB2 is this field.
The next stage is approaching: a supplementary training course organised at the ULB. At the end of the course, a final test will determine who will represent Belgium at the European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) in June in Sofia (Bulgaria) and at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in July in Paris (France).
Seven S5 and S6 students from a range of language sections took on the challenge of the British Physics Olympiad. All students did very well considering that our syllabuses do not match the UK very well. EEB2 had 2 students awarded gold, putting them in the top 8% of the 3500 students who participated.

Congratulations to our physics students and teachers!
Chemistry Olympiads
We have two other laureates for the 2025 Chemistry Olympiads: Alexander Dobrucki (S6) et Varga Eliza (S5). Thank you to the organising teachers Samuel Druhle and Christophe Yemsi.
Biology Olympiads
Paulina GEDEON, a pupil in S6FR, is the winner of the biology competition. We are very proud of her and thank the organising teacher Sylvain Leterme.
